WorkStream takes an end-to-end view of the tasks and dependencies required to manage equity compensation. EASi's smart software leverages a single, real-time data source with built-in triggers to move administrative processes from start to finish. The fully collaborative EASi WorkStream model is built around five simple principles:

  1. Single Data Source: A single point-of-entry for all elections and data updates with a single calculation source provides consistent, streamlined processing with less exposure to error. Real-time information is available for all users.
  2. Collaborative Role-Based Access: All who provide data, interact with the data or require the data are able to access it in a self-service manner with entitlements based on their role. All system updates are recorded with time and date stamp as well as user id. Transactions that require signature-based authorizations are identified in the system with authorized signatories and an auditable approval step.
  3. Configurable Business Rules and Check-Points: Business rules are built in so that all processes either happen in an automated fashion - with appropriate audit check-points - or are considered exceptions that are flagged for manual intervention.
  4. Event-Driven Process Flow: For multi-step processes, upon completion of each task, a trigger initiates the next step or steps and responsible parties are notified.
  5. Status Notifications: Process status can be tracked with "completion" triggers to notify impacted parties of the availability of required data.

EASi Does it

EASi WorkStream leverages automation and self-service to save time, save money and reduce errors. Today you can capture efficiencies by linking EASi to your HRIS, Payroll and Accounting systems. You can also generate your required valuation, expensing, corporate tax, dilution, and disclosure numbers and entries.

With EASi WorkStream you can upload addresses and state tax rates and our platform calculates taxes on the fly. CompXchange, our payroll interface lets you send up demographic data, address changes, department, title, YTD FICA and EASi calculates the exact tax amount and caps the FICA deductions. Then, EASi sends back the ordinary income earned and the tax amounts to tax jurisdictions specific to the individual.

EASi WorkStream also brings in the risk free interest rate for your Black Scholes calculation and automatically applies it to determine the fair value calculation. Our platform also provides automatic daily stock price feeds via the Internet.

Plan participants benefit from the EASi employee portal that let's you communicate with your employees about their awards. They can model transactions, get transaction history, initiate an exercise, and will eventually be able to place a trade with their broker of choice.

EASi's Document Center lets you provide documents on demand, segregating views for authorized employees only. And you can use dozens of customizable, system generated messages to notify employees about grant activity.
